Within man lies a deep wondrous spot, to which neither virtue nor vice can reach. Upon which the sun of reason and will never rise. In which the mouth of logic never speaks, the laws and rules are never obeyed, and not a language is used nor a word is ever spoken.
It is a distant Kingdom, beyond words and meanings. With everything is a sheer murmur offering wonders in a blink. From the depths of which, suffice a single tone or a flash of mind or a scent of a perfum, to allow rise of emotions, pictures and memories, a rising that will shake our being and open ourselves to things we can neither describe nor materialize even if we used the most refined of phrases or the most skillful of languages.

Nothing to do with nothing...... Carmen, Bizet !!!

In 10 minutes a swing of mood led me to it.
It all started when I wanted to put a part from Scheherazade by Korsakov. And just in time I discovered it doesn't match my mood, which is weird because it was triggered by a mood impulse in the first place!!. Then I jumped to my favorite, Strauss, and again he's not matching the mood, and then I rememberd Carmen. I'm not into ANY Opera by any means but I like the part I know from Carmen's music, and for the first time I gave my self a chance to listen to it. Being in french may have helped me consider it much and ......voila, I finally decided to put it.
Weird too 'cause I even don't like Carmen the person, when I was young I thought she's a flirt, and I don't like flirts, and I never gave her a second chance!! not even now.
Can I tell even more, I also liked the Callas version, though I never liked Callas the person, Why?, simple, because of Onassis.
......... Can my thoughts get any more complicated !!!??

The Callas version
